Beginners Yoga:
Introduction to yoga with the focus centered on basic postures, breathing techniques and alignment. Perfect for complete
beginners, as well as anyone who is looking to refresh their practice and re-explore the foundations of yoga.
Gentle Yoga:
Slow and mindful practice designed to release tension, reduce stress, and promote relaxation. Appropriate for newcomers at any age or stage of life or in any physical condition, as well as advanced students who just wish to wind down. You will experience healing from the inside out, body, mind and soul.
The emphasis of these classes is on self-awareness, breath and gentleness to the body.
Morning Hatha:
Start your day centered and energized. Flow style sequences available for all levels. In a safe environment students will be guided to expand their practice and modifications are given to new students. This class will satisfy all participants, whatever your current level of yoga experience is.
Peaceful pranayama followed by simple, foundational poses. We move slowly through poses and emphasize correct alignment and connection with the breath.
Evening Hatha:
We all deserve time out from our hectic, stressful every day schedule. Use this practice to cultivate peace and stillness within. Great opportunity to release the day and preparing for a restful night. This class welcomes all students. In a safe environment students will be guided to expand their practice and beginners will be given modifications. Peaceful pranayama followed by simple, foundational poses. We move slowly through poses and emphasize correct alignment and connection with the breath. This class is developed to honor the busy working population.
Multi - Level
This spirited yoga class are structured a flowing series of postures with emphasis on alignment, coordinated with the breath, to build strength and increase flexibility, self-awareness and ending in deep relaxation to integrate the practice. These classes emphasize precision and body awareness and use props such as blocks and straps to facilitate movement into the poses. Students are gently guided through a dynamic series of poses, with hands-on assists when necessary to ensure optimal alignment. Options are offered for beginners and allow more advanced students to go deeper into the poses. The yoga class is for all levels from the beginners to more advanced students, though some experience with yoga is recommended. Students are encouraged to practice to their own ability at their own pace.
Yoga Immersion
90 minute energizing, centering flow practice including chanting, pranayama and a short meditation in the end.
Cultivate Peace and Calmness within Yourself as we create Unity.
All levels are welcome, class is suited for individual needs and modifications are available.
Private Yoga:
You might have heard of the positive impact of yoga from others but you need individual attention to start you up?
In a private session, yoga is applied uniquely to each person with specific attention given to your goals, needs and limitations. Whether you would want to know your body better or you are new to yoga, especially if classes seem overwhelming or intimidating or you might have an injury, a disability or illness recovery you can feel safe in our comfortable environment. Generally some time is spent in discussion, isolating structural issues, assessing abilities, improving the body's form and technique, working on breathing exercises, enhancing relaxation/meditation methods and learning how to listen to the body's signals. Yoga postures and breathing exercises are selectively chosen and developed based on an individual's specific needs, goals and preferences. Students learn and practice these techniques at their own pace and within their own limitations. Attentively guided by verbal instruction, demonstration and hands-on direction, the students can enhance their yoga practice in a way that is not necessarily attainable in group classes. Easy access and plenty of parking.
